Floods create havoc in Assam:
Incessant rains since the last few days have created havoc in the north eastern state of India-Assam. Water have inundated all over which has led to massive damage and destruction. The rivers are overflowing in many districts of Assam and has claimed innocent lives. The city of Guwahati is also reeling under the devastation of flood waters. Continuous rains have triggered landslides in many important parts of Guwahati city posing a big threat for the people. In this critical phase, the army, BSF, SDRF,NDRF have started massive rescue operations.
